A little bit of Japan in Wrocław...

Art Nouveau was influenced by Japanese art. Artist appreciated its reference to nature and organic forms.  In Wroclaw there is also a place inspired by Japan. The Japanese Garden in Wroclaw (Ogród Japoński we Wrocławiu) was designed during 1909-1912. Fritz Von Hochberg who spent many years in Japan was the initiator of the project. A Japanese gardener, Mankichi Arai designed the garden. Although since 1912 the garden has completely changed it is still worth visiting.
